Crab in a bucket... Every year we try to spend some time at the beach so my wife can go crabbing... She loves it. She catches them & puts them in a bucket. One time I asked her if she wanted a lid so that they wouldnt climb out & she said they wont & I said why not? So she said I guess they like it in there. That made me extremely curious & so I began to watch them. As one would pull himself up towards the top bucket another would grab his leg & pull it back down in the bucket. They repeated this process over & over so none of them were ever able to escape. Unfortunately this is how a lot of people act as well. Rather than encouraging & helping others succeed they pulled them back down in the pit so that they can have company. I believe the greatest privilege that God has given us is the ability to love, yet so few choose to exercise this gift. In order to have a friend we must first learn to be one. above all else, love one another. (1Peter4:8)
