Craig A. Hills, age 65, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 25, 1947 in Grinnell, Iowa to Arthur Charles and Shirley Mae (Theobald) Hills. Craig had a strong love for the Lord that started at Faith Fellowship Assembly in Muskegon and continued at Grand Haven Resurrection Life. He celebrated life to the fullest, and filled every room with joy and energy. Craig enjoyed his Tuesday morning prayer breakfast group for many years. He loved his job as a salesman for Great Lakes Printing Solutions, where he worked for 36 years. He touched many lives through his work. Craig was an avid University of Michigan and Detroit Tiger fan. He loved Grand Haven, beaches, photography, lawn and flowers, fishing and feeding his birds. On November 20, 1971 he married the former Mary Tierney, and always dated his girl, who he loving called “Mazie”, (Mary) for 42 years. SURVIVORS include his wife, Mary of Grand Haven; 2 loving daughters, Lisa Ann (Tom) Willis of Escanaba, MI and Brien (Miguel) Cruz of Grand Haven; 4 grandchildren, Madeline Rose, Benjamin Daniel Craig, Muireann and Fionn; his father, Arthur Hills of Grand Rapids, brother, Steve (Becky) Hills of Battle Creek; sister, Cathy (Bob) Cavanaugh of Rochester Hills, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Craig was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley.
