#CramTheCruiser @Rowanvikings For the second consecutive year, the Rowan County Middle School Cheerleaders participated in the Cram the Cruiser event with great success. The squad’s help, in addition to other donations, helped #CVERegion5 push their food totals to over 2,000 lbs of donated items. Officer Larry Farris was able to meet with the cheerleaders last night to collect their substantial donation. The food will be distributed at region and post level to local shelters, churches or other organizations serving those in need. Suggested donations include canned fruit and vegetables, canned meat, macaroni and cheese, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned soups, chili or spaghetti sauce, brownie and cake mixes, coffee, water, powdered milk and juices. A special thank you goes out to the Rowan County Middle School Cheerleaders, as well as to the men and women of #CVERegion5 that have donated can goods and money. The time you’ve spent trying to make this event successful is greatly appreciated.
