Crawfish places 4th at the Woodlands 14 & Under Meet 36 CA athletes ages 9-14 took part in the Woodlands Swim Team 14 & Under Invitational this past weekend. This “championship meet style format” meet provided a great learning opportunity for swimmers in regard to self-management, race strategies, pre/post-race procedures in addition to racing in a prelim/final format. The athletes raced hard from Friday afternoon distance races all the way through the last event late Sunday evening. We had numerous finalists, in nearly every event CA entered! Not only were the CA athletes busy each night at finals, many with multiple swims each night, they also posted numerous lifetime best swims in both the AM and PM sessions. New Sectionals Qualifier: Jolee Liles (200 Fly, 200 IM and 200 Back) New CA Records: -Mary Grace Bitting, 10 & U 200 Free -Jolee Liles, 13-14 girls 200 Back, 200 IM, 800 Free Swimmers making the Top 3 in one or more events were: Annalane Lee, Michael Padial, Jolee Liles, Abby Baumgartner, Landon Godso, Rylee Moore, Reagan Edwards, Mary Grace Bitting, Colin Klingman.
