Crazy! 2Corinthians 5:13 If it seems we are crazy, it is to bring glory to God. Two of our grand babies spent the night with us last night. This morning Emma got up and couldnt find her bag. She looked for a minute and then decided it was my fault. She asked me what I did with it. When I denied any involvement she said I gave it to you. What did you do with it? Before long she found it, right where she put it. Today Debbie and I have been married thirty years and things have come full circle. I remember a time a few years after we got married when Debbie couldnt find a particular dress she was wanting to wear. She looked for it and when she couldnt find it she immediately started accusing me of moving it or throwing it away. Now I have been known to clean up or clean out but in this case I was completely innocent. Debbie wouldnt have any of it, she got mad and was convinced I had cleaned out her closet. She told me so, several times!!!! About ten minutes later Im sitting in the den and out of the corner of my eye I see movement. It was Debbie peeking out of the bedroom door. So I just set there ignoring her and acting like I didnt see her. I watched, from the corner of my eye, as she tippy-toed across the hall, carrying the lost dress, into the another bedroom. A little later she eases into the den and sits for a few minutes then says well I found my dress. Where? I asked very nonchalantly. In the extra bedroom closet, right where you put it! Without event looking up I said Debbie I saw you cross the hall. It was one of the great moments of any husbands life, catching his wife being wrong!!!!! I spent much of the first thirty years of my life unintentionally running from God. Ive spent the last thirty trying to walk with Him. There have been times when some would have said I was crazy. There have been times I would have said the same. But through it all my family and I have tried to follow and please God and he has blessed us for it. The point being, when you honestly try to follow Gods plan for your life, sometimes people may think youre crazy. But does it really matter what people think? Think about it and have a great day. Its all about Jesus!
