Crazy Volkswagen stuff happens for the annual Cub Scout Pinewood Derby when the Scout Master is a VW Junkie! This is what I built this year..... a hand crafted 1943 Volkswagen Kubelwagen as used by the German Wehrmacht in WW2. It is completely handmade by me of wood, sheet metal, clothes hanger, real military canvas and lots of odds and end from around the shop. Its put together with a hot glue gun, Crazy glue, staples, and a bit of welding! I brushed a little red oxide primer around it after i was done to give it some patina! The front plate stands for Waynesboro Pack 97 and the rear plate is my mark. What do you think?
