Crazy dream last night. I bought a house and I was redecorating, - TopicsExpress

Crazy dream last night. I bought a house and I was redecorating, but every time Id get something in that I liked, Beyonce and JayZ would come and change it. I know. I told you it was crazy. I slept until 10:00 a.m. I dont remember the last time I did that. I guess that speaks to my emotional exhaustion. We all know that minds can get an overload far faster than the body. Too much stuff to remember or too much stuff to deal with at once, or just too emotionally taxing to endure. Weve all been there and I guess I hit a tipping point, as well. Im not complaining. And when I did wake up it was to the sounds of chain saws grinding up the street. Since I already knew exactly why they would be there it was nice not have to get out of bed to see what was going on. A large dead tree in a neighbors yard up the street took it upon itself to finally fall over. I told you the winds were strong here the last two days. The good part was it did not fall in the street, but that explained the chain saws, and by the time I got to the front of the house they were almost through with clean-up. All that industrious behavior did not spark one bit of industry in me. I wish I could just go back to bed and forget the world today, BUT, I have a book deadline February 1st so ..work to be done. My youngest granddaughter, Leslie, has a birthday at the end of this month. She will be eighteen years old. Shes already graduated high school. She finished in December, a half a year early. I foresee a party in the works. Eighteen is a big birthday, too. I did not call and check on Little Mama this morning. I cant make the crazy times better and I dont want to know anymore about it today. Yesterday was enough. Today my thoughts are on you. You are many and you know who you are. Icie May, I wish you a day free from migraines as you work through your day. Windsong Vance Probst, I wish you a day of joy in the city where you live, even though part of your heart is forever in the mountains where you were born. Dinah Lynn Colegrove, I am sending you positive energy that the job you so dearly seek will find you soon. Dixie Cox, I am sending you strength to get well so you can go home. Adrianne Lee Author, I send your sweet grandson daily strength as he continues his treatments. Rina Stricklin Martin, I was rejoicing with you last night as I read that your new baby granddaughter came through the surgery and is well on her way to being well. CurtissAnn Matlock, I think of you daily in your life with your dear Mama. You are a true and valiant lady. Chandra Crawford, last year was a gift of life for you and I am so grateful you are regaining your health. Janet Smith Coffey, I pray nightly for you in the ongoing court fight regarding your sweet granddaughter, We are many in this world and at differing times in our lives we will face diverse battles with varying outcomes, not all of them good. It is the way life works. We have a tendency to get wrapped up in our own woes and fail to recognize or empathize the battles being fought around us. I mention this because if you are able to acknowledge you are not alone in crisis, and that other people you know are fighting crucial battles of their own, it goes a long way toward lessening the burdens on your heart. Just accepting that life is forever a journey and that the troubles and sorrows along the way arent meant as punishment, but are there for learning and growing is most important. As the old saying goes.. its not always about you. I remind myself of this daily.
