Crazy long day. Levi passed out on the couch, and I am sitting in my new living room. I cant believe that I bought a house with a yard after living in a condo for 13 years. Purchasing in an underdeveloped area of the city over a decade ago was the second best decision that I made in my life. I took a huge financial risk. No matter the hardships, I always paid the mortgage despite losing my job, enduring anxiety attacks, changing careers by going back to school to become a teacher, having my heart broken a few times and raising Levi as a single Dad. Also, survived the Great Recession and walked out with cash in my pocket. I want to scream from my roof that I did it. Never surrender and always look toward the future.
