Crazy week. Just got back from California on Tuesday at 7am and back to competing today. Sometimes things just go weird. I lost my first Nogi match on points and was frustrated with myself. Sucked it up, managed to pull a top wrist lock win in my second match to get 3rd. I always take the gi division as an opportunity to challenge myself and achieve mini goals. I am still a little shell-shocked that I pulled off a win. First time bringing home a belt for the gi. Feels good to open with a gi takedown and finish with a Nogi/catch sub. Its almost like Im learning and have good instructors or something like that...
