Creamery served by the N.Y. Ontario & Western in Rock Tavern - TopicsExpress

Creamery served by the N.Y. Ontario & Western in Rock Tavern N.Y. The photos were taken in 1909 & 2005 off of N.Y. 207. Prior to 1904 there was a grade crossing here. A bridge was built at a sharp angle over the tracks to probably prevent a trolley company from forming a line between Goshen (county seat) & Newburgh, Orange countys largest city. In 1937/38 this bridge was removed and a new one built to remove the angled approaches. Finally in 1977/78, the second bridge was removed and filled in.
