Creams John Symon Asher Jack Bruce (14 May 1943 – 25 October 2014) Although I believe John Entwistle of “The Who” was the best bass player I’ve ever heard, Jack Bruce was the most unusual. Jack rapidly walked all over the scales yet made it work. No one else sounded like Bruce. While Entwistle’s genius was better captured live, Jack attacked his bass in studio and out.
