Even a DOLLAR can help. I know everyday we could find hundreds of charities to contribute to, and I do my best to help as many as possible. This situation is a bit different. WBFF Pro Maggie Perez has traveled from her home in Uruguay. She is the first and ONLY female professional from her country, so she is an incredible source of inspiration to women around the world. When in Las Vegas, she started to experience crippling pain and was rushed to the hospital. Her liver is bleeding, and she has already had a transfusion. When speaking to her, despite being given morphine, she is in excruciating pain. She is awaiting test results and if they cannot stop the bleeding, she will need emergency surgery. It took every dime that she had just to travel to the United States to compete. She is from a country where she does not have the luxuries and the money that we may have here. In Las Vegas also there to compete is the father or her young child Uma... Ignacio Torres who is the WBFF World Champion. They are alone in a different country and they do not have the money to cover the medical costs for treatment she deserves. As athletes, we all know the risks and sacrifices we take. And in this industry when you are hurt, or sick, or injured, you are out on your own. Well Maggie Perez NEEDS OUR HELP! She devotes herself to her fans and this industry and she is sick. She needs help. When speaking to her, through tears and broken English all she kept saying was how scared she was and wanted to hold her daughter UMA.
