Created by Beatrice Miller, to be delivered to: North West - General Secretary Zwelinzima Vavi, The national council of SPCAs (NSPCA), Solomon Makgale - SAPS National Spokesperson, Hundreds of animals were found in a severe condition at North West Premier Thandi Modises farm in South Africa. The animals were starved and started consuming each other. The National Council of SPCAs said an electrician was called to repair the water pump so that water could be provided to the remaining animals. Not all the animals that were found alive were saved. Some of them had to be euthanized their situation being beyond help. More than 120 animals had to be put down to end their suffering. The animals were starved for such a long time that they started eating each other in order to survive. What the NSPCA found at the premises was beyond imaginable. They said it was the worst case in the last 20 years. This woman had no feelings and no compassion for the living creatures. She neglected the animals and stopped feeding them for two weeks. No wonder that the pigs turned to each other in order to survive. I am asking you to sign this petition and demand the prosecution of Thandi Modise and all the staff from her farm! Those animals deserved better and the people that did this to them deserve to be in jail!
