Creating Community Gala - STATS and BIG THANKS!! A report from our minister.... Over 50 items sold at the Silent Auction, plus 15 Bakery donations, brought in a total of $840.00. From the Gala proceeds, UUFD will give approximately $657.00 to DeKalb County Community Gardens We estimate our income from the Gala to be approximately $5,908.00. There are so many who helped make this Gala a resounding success - the silent auction donors, the bakers & dessert patrons, the the set-up and clean-up workers - but I especially want to name in gratitude these folks who did so much extra duty: Terri Mann Lamb - General Cheerleader, Food Goddess, Prep & Decor, TIcket-maker, & Gala team Gladys Sanchez - Childrens program, and Gala team Jeff Kowalski - Bar & Band organizer & Gala team Carey Boehmer - Set-up & Clean-up Goddess & Gala team Bonnie Freeman - Office - Ticket prep, & typed up all the bid and description sheets Toni Tollerud - Ticket organizer, and Money Maven #1 Linda Matuszweski - Money Maven #2 Diane Johns - Dessert Auction Cheerleader & Organizer, Baker, & Gala team Jeanne Meyer - Auctioneer Extraordinaire Frank OBarski - Board rep & Gala team If I missed anyone...please know that I am grateful for the amazing work done to support this auction!
