I had a brief chat with Kevin Tan there, son of taipan Andrew Tan - they were upbeat about their more than 10-billion peso investment to develop the old airport complex they acquired from the government. Sen Drilon got a plunder rap for the construction of the IConvention Center - that project attracted the taipans group to build a number of hotels there (there are not enough hotel rooms in the entire city to cater to / attract large national conventions.) Thousands are to benefit in terms of new investments. I wonder what Mr. Coscoluella, now a renowned international architect who had worked in projects that became landmarks, had to do with plunder as to the project? When politics get in the way of development... Oh Im not yet to say my personal take as to the issues about the (or awarding of the) ICC project...
