Creation of Infrastructure in Education sector under SDF government.:- 1) Establishment of a Central University in Sikkim. 2) Establishment of a degree college in Kamrang in south Sikkim. 3) Establishment of a degree college in Gyalshing in west Sikkim. 4) Establishment of B.Ed vollege in Soreng west Sikkim. 5) Establishment of a degrre college in Burtuk east Sikkim. 6) Establishment of Sikkim Manipal University. 7) Establishment of engineering college in Sikkim. 8) Establishment of pharmacy college in Sikkim 9) Establushment of agriculture engineering college in Sikkim. 10) Establushment of Sanskrit University in Sikkim. 11) Establishment of a ATTC in Bardang east Sikkim. 12) Establishment of CCIT in Chisopani in south Sikkim. 13) ITI college in all four district. 14) Establushment of Institute of Hotel Management. 15) Two polytechnic unstitute have been establishment in state. 16) One sec. School in every gram panchayat and sr. Sec. School in every village. 17) The tradition o building Kutcha school has been brought to an end. All schools now have concrete RCC building. 18) Auditorium for every senior sec. school. 19) Under the CMs free Scholarship Scheme, the State govt. funds any student who secures admission in one of the top twenty colleges of the world. 20) Free coaching for civil service adpirants for IAS/IFS/IPS in some of the best coaching centres in the country.
