Creative Memories is restructuring and will be launching a brand new business this fall. We’ll have a new simplified product line, Host Rewards Program and Business Plan for consultants. The scrapbooking market has changed dramatically in the past few years, and we need to reorganize in order to meet changing demands and to reach a larger part of the market. We are fortunate that we have this opportunity to restructure for the future! CM has a plan, but each step needs to be approved by the bankruptcy courts and could be subject to change. So CM is only releasing information as court decisions are made. As of today, here is what we know. REWARDS CLUB: The Rewards Club has been discontinued. I’ve sent a separate email to club members with info. TRADITONAL PRODUCT LINE: ALL of our traditional products have been moved to a “While Supplies Last” status, and most items are being discontinued. Some items might return in the fall but will probably be redesigned and presented in a different way. Please purchase now any items that you may want or need to finish projects. I suspect that items will sell out quickly. I have a nice selection of inventory on hand, so please check with me for anything that you may need. CM will not be discounting any items. ALBUM COVERS, PAGES & PAGE PROTECTORS: Album covers, page refills and page protectors are produced in-house. CM will take orders for those items through a date in July and will try to manufacture enough to meet demand. I suggest that you order these items early as they may run out of raw materials to make the pages. I encourage you to purchase enough pages and protectors to complete the covers that you have. If there is a certain album color that you like, you should order it now. Our co-founder, Rhonda Anderson, said today, “Our albums and pages in the future will be fresh and new. We are reimaging what people want – simple and easy. Fast to Fabulous and PicFolio Albums will be a large part of the future.” NEW TRADITIONAL ITEMS: New paper, stickers and albums will be available for customers to order online beginning July 1. I will be able to pre-order these items tomorrow (Saturday). I expect that they will sell out quickly. Please let me know today if you would like for me to order any of these items for you. I shared an email with a link to view these items a few days ago. DIGITAL: There has been NO information about our digital business as of today. Our CEO has only stated that they are “trying and would like for digital to be a part of our new business.” As we are unsure about our digital future, I suggest creating and ordering digital items ASAP. Our Custom Covers and Photo Panels are super products that everyone loves. Our new iPhone cases are fun and unique! Schedule a one-on-one or gather a few friends and I’m glad to help you design and order any of these items. If you have one of our $90 pre-paid Photo Plans, please try to use up your credit ASAP. The workshop that I had scheduled for Friday, June 21t has been canceled. I may try to reschedule it as a Stop & Shop opportunity for a day next week. Please watch for emails from me.
