Creative and Cultural Assistant (Paid internship) Location: Trowse Millgate, Norwich Wage: National minimum wage Contract term: 6 months Hours: 30hrs per week Role description The role will be to help with the delivery of regular publishing projects (print and web), event management and support for various arts organisations in Norwich. This includes social media, web updates, note-taking and admin. In addition, there will be opportunities to undertake research, develop projects and initiate new work. Person Specification Energetic and willing to learn, with good levels of literacy and numeracy and an interest in the arts and culture. Must be motivated, positive and forward-thinking, with good communication skills. Desirable: willingness to use online work practices. Interest in digital marketing. Car driver with own vehicle. Experience is not necessary but a well-organised, flexible and open mind definitely an advantage. This paid internship has been created as part of the Creative Employment Programme. The Creative Employment Programme is an Arts Council England fund to support the creation of traineeships, formal apprenticeship and paid internship opportunities in England for unemployed young people wishing to pursue a career in the arts and cultural sector.
