Credit Controller Revenue Officer – 6 month FTC About the Role Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for own portfolio of over 500 live accounts and achieve collections as targeted Checking and dispatching routine letters and systematic review and chasing of overdue accounts by telephone. Discussion with patients regarding their account and other general queries. And resolving queries raised by patients and doctors including liaising with other departments as necessary. Reviewing accounts and preparing details to be passed to collection agencies and solicitors as necessary after discussion with the Billing and Credit Control Manager. Prepare accounts for write-off due to debt or courtesy discounts together with preparing schedules of all debts of over £15K to the Billing and Credit Control Manager monthly. Preparing other tasks in line with the nature of the post as directed by the Billing and Credit Control Manager. To build and maintain effective working relationships across Finance and with other colleagues across the business. To undertake other projects and assignments, as required, to support the Billing and Credit Control Manager and other members of the Credit & Billing Teams. PERSON SPECIFICATION Qualifications Qualified by experience and be able to demonstrate skills in this area. Good Standard of education IT Skills Experience Proven track record of experience of collecting debt Delivering the Service Highly developed influencing skills with the ability to enthuse and get the buy in of internal or external individuals. Ability to analyse problems and to develop practical and workable solutions to address them. Ability to manage and deliver to deadlines Ability to collaborate constructively with internal and external partners to create the conditions for successful partnership working.
