Creed of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jammah towards Ahlul Bayt To Allah - TopicsExpress

Creed of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jammah towards Ahlul Bayt To Allah belongs the praise and the rule. He is the most wise, and knower of all. It is he who rectifies the affairs and it is he who shall bring us all to account. May Allah sends peace and blessings on the Prophet, his children, his wives, and his companions and all those who follow their way: The creed of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamm’ah has been detailed in MANY books of Aqeedah, from the earliest works of Imam Abu Hanifa, to the more well known works, like the works of Shaykul Islaam ibn Taymiyyah. The issues of Aqeedah-Creed, is one that many people are ignorant of, thus, they fall into the lies and deceptions of the innovators, and the exaggerations of the exaggerators. Thusly, to have the proper creed is to return to the book of Allah and the sunnah of his messenger(saw). Whoever holds onto these two, AND tread the path of the Salaf, then he will find himself free from any deception or deviation, so long as he stays steadfast. Whoever does not, then Allah has warned them: And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers – We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination.[4:115] It follows then, The Creed of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamm’ah, regarding the household of the Prophet is mentioned in the saying of Allah azza wajaal: O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech. And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet’s] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification. [33:32-33] So concerning the term “Ahlul Bayt” we see that in this ayah Allah refutes the false notion risen by the Shia Rawafidah, that Ahlul Bayt is “only Ali, Fatimah, Al Hassan, and Al Hussayn and the Imams”. Rather a mans Ahl includes his WIVES, and the entirety of Ahlul Bayt would be who’s ever blood line is shared by the Prophet. Therefore, Ibn Abbas is apart of Ahlul Bayt and so is his father. We are obliged to LOVE Ahlul Bayt, and especially the mothers of the believers, as mentioned in the ayaat above, they are unlike any other women. The foremost among the wives of the Prophet, are Khadijah(ra) who was the mother to the majority of the Prophet’s children, and Aisha who was his favorite wife after Khadijah’s death. Though these two were close to his heart, he loved all his wives and obligated us to respect them. Also, a member of Ahlul bayt is ALSO known as a companion, as the term “Sahabi” denotes one who saw the Prophet, believed in him, and died believing in him. This has been mentioned by numerous scholars. Unlike the Rawafidah, we do not go to extremes in praising Ahlul Bayt. Today we find the graves of Hassan and Hussayn visited while the visitors make du’a and supplicated to the inhabitants of the grave. This without a doubt is shirk. Even in some countries you find Billboards and the people themselves screaming out “Ya Ali” in their du’as and the like. This is not only shirk but disrespectful to Ali and his family who was never praised in such a way nor did he like it. May Allah guide those who do this ignorantly, and curse those who do it purposely. Exactly like the companions we do not mention any faults or arguments Ahlul Bayt may have had. We also do not accuse them of major or minor sins, though they are not free from them, they are excused due to their virtuous merit in the eyes of Allah and the sacrifices they have made for the deen. May Allah bless the Prophet and his family, and keep them clear of whatever evil actions is attributed to them. (notes from Shaykh Saleh as Saleh’s class on “Creed of Ahlus Sunnah” )
