Cricket nationalists in India and Pakistan who use a majoritarian ideology to bully those they minoritise and occupy are disgusting and pathetic. Three Baloch students have reportedly been beaten up badly in Preston University in Islamabad. Whether the were beaten up for speaking in Balochi or for not cheering for Pakistan in its match with Sri Lanka or for both is not clear as of now. The photo of a blood-soaked student that has surfaced a few hours is genuine I am told. Following on from similar stories of Kashmiri students penalised for supporting Pakistan in cricket match, this story makes me wonder how much sick can cricket nationalism and nationalism get in the region
