Cricket was played once in Olympics. In 1900,teams representing Belgium, France, Great Britain, and the Netherlands were scheduled to compete in the tournament. But, Belgium and Netherlands pulled out of the competition, leaving Great Britain to play France. So, Britain and France played the match for 2 days. Great Britain I inn: 117 all out France I inn: 78 all out Great Britain II inn: 145 for 5 declare France II inn: 26 all out Result: Great Britain won by 158 runs with only five minutes of the match remaining :) Note:- The match was formally recognized as being an Olympic contest in 1912, and the medals were later reassigned as gold and silver.
