Crime Stoppers: BUSTED! We JUST put out a Crime Stoppers post 6 hours ago. Thanks to some great communication between departments, and old fashioned police work, the cases are solved! See the below press release: The Lowell Police Department had asked for our assistance in identifying three suspects in a Commercial Burglary. Pictures taken from the surveillance video showed 2 males and 1 female breaking into a business, stealing items, then leaving in a black passenger car. The crime occurred on November 13th at 2:30am. The pictures were shared on our social media pages. On the 14th of November, the Springdale Police Department worked two additional Commercial Burglaries, around the same time frame and with similar circumstances. In Springdale, the suspects had fired a shotgun into the front glass in order to make entry. A Springdale Patrol Officer witnessed a black passenger car matching the description of the burglary suspects on Powell Street today around 11am. Dispatchers confirmed that the black Acura was a stolen vehicle. Officers initiated a traffic stop, and later arrested 5 juveniles out of the car. In addition, officers located a stolen shotgun, identical to the one seen on surveillance videos. The juveniles were charged with various crimes, to include multiple counts of Felony Commercial Burglary, Felony Theft and Continuing a Criminal Enterprise. These charges span two counties, because crimes occurred in Washington and Benton County. The investigation is still ongoing by Lowell and Springdale Police.
