Crime takes no holiday break December 25, 2014 By PHILIP A. HOLMES (pholmes@sungazette) , Williamsport Sun-Gazette A shooting, an armed robbery and the theft of a Toys for Tots canister from a business are keeping area police busy this week. A man in his 40s was grazed by a bullet above his right eye in a shooting that occurred in the 700 block of West Fourth Street early Sunday morning, city police Capt. Michael Orwig said Wednesday. The victim, whose identity was not released, was taken by ambulance to Williamsport Regional Medical Center. The shooting apparently occurred during a fight that broke out about 3:50 a.m., Orwig said. Numerous vehicles were seen fleeing as officers began arriving on the scene, Orwig said.
