Crimson Dawn (facebook wont let me tag them..) recently released their debut album In Stange Aeons... on bandcamp. The Italian doom metal band has lots of excellent riffs and guitar solos throughout the album, and their music reminds me a bit of Black Sabbath. On the album, thick, sludgy guitar riffs are plentiful as well as fast guitar solos. Vocals provided by Antonio Pecere are elevating and powerful, providing the epicness found within epic doom metal, and Dario Beretta does a brilliant job on lead guitar. I actually know Dario from a metal forum online and Id certainly recommend giving his bands new album a listen. They have put forth the effort in creating a memorable doom metal release and they are truly thankful for their listeners and the ability to play their music live. They recently performed their first show and Crimson Dawn looks to have a dramatic, doomy stage presence- complete with red lighting, cloaks, and mist. Definitely give Crimson Dawns In Stange Aeons... a listen and the album is also available for purchase on their bandcamp if youre interested. Let me know what you think of the album!
