Crimson Scholars, There will be an Information Session for the Honors College Scholarship for International Research for potential students and faculty mentors Wednesday, December 4th at 4pm and again on Thursday, December 5th at 12pm on the 1st floor commons area of Conroy Honors Center. The $5000 NMSU Honors College Scholarship provides NMSU students with a unique opportunity for a self-designed international travel and research experience. The proposed experience must go beyond a regular classroom or study-abroad experience and promise to expand the student’s horizons and complement his or her undergraduate education. All sophomore and junior Crimson Scholars (min. cumulative GPA of 3.5) are eligible and encouraged to apply. Students interested in applying must fill out the online application by Friday, FEBRUARY 7th by the end of the business day. The online application just notifies the Honors College you are interested in preparing a portfolio to submit at a later date, your complete portfolio is not due until FEBRUARY 21st!
