Croatia are the latest nation to announce their 23-man squad for the World Cup, and though Mario Pasalic was a surprising addition to the provisional roster, he didnt manage to make the cut for the final roster. Heres the full squad: Goalkeepers: Stipe Pletikosa (Rostov), Danijel Subašić (Monaco), Oliver Zelenika (Lokomotiva Zagreb) Defenders: Darijo Srna (Shakhtar), Dejan Lovren (Southampton), Vedran Ćorluka (Lokomotiv), Gordon Schildenfeld (Panathinaikos), Danijel Pranjić (Panathinaikos), Domagoj Vida (Dynamo Kiev), Šime Vrsaljko (Genoa) Midfielders: Luka Modrić (Real Madrid), Ivan Rakitić (Sevilla), Ognjen Vukojević (Dynamo Kiev), Mateo Kovačić (Internazionale), Marcelo Brozović (Dinamo), Sammir (Getafe), Ivan Močinić (Rijeka) Strikers: Ivan Perišić (Wolfsburg), Mario Mandžukić (Bayern), Ivica Olić (Wolfsburg), Eduardo Alves da Silva (Shakhtar), Nikica Jelavić ( Hull City), Ante Rebić (Fiorentina) Left out: Igor Bubnjić (Udinese), Mario Pašalić (Chelsea), Duje Čop (Dinamo Zagreb), Milan Badelj (HSV) Pasalic will presumably head to London where hell spend some time with Jose Mourinho, while many of his more accomplished Chelsea teammates take the pitch in Brazil. That should provide a nice opportunity for Chelsea fans to get a look at him before he inevitably heads out on loan for the 2014/15 season. Heres hoping he impresses. 16 Gonzalo Arroyo Moreno
