Cloves* (if spiced apple butter is desired) 1 tsp Allspice* (if spiced apple butter is desired) ~You will need canning jars and ring lids~ Put apples and juice in a covered crockpot. Cook on low heat for 10-12 hours, (overnight works well) or on high heat for 4 hours. When apples are tender, blend then in a blender. Mix sugar and cinnamon together. *(If spiced apple butter is desired, also include cloves and allspice.) Mix apples and sugar mixture and blend thoroughly.* Pour everything back into the crockpot. Cover and cook on high for another 6-8 hours. After about 3 hours, remove the cover and allow mixture to cook down. Stir every 2 hours. Boil jars and ring lids. Pour apple butter into jars, tighten tops well and store upside down for 1 hour. They should seal after this. #crockpotapplebutter #crockpot #applebutter #apple
