Crofton Middle School, Crofton Elementary School, and Crofton - TopicsExpress

Crofton Middle School, Crofton Elementary School, and Crofton Meadows Elementary School have been placed on a precautionary lockout status because of an incident in the community. All students and employees are safe, and no incident has taken place on any of the campuses. During this period, no one is allowed in or out of the school buildings. Police officers are at schools as a precaution, and activity inside the buildings is continuing normally. At Crofton Middle, an officer is stationed at the construction entrance. Students in portable classrooms at Crofton Middle will remain there until the school is advised by police that students may move into the main building. Again, this is purely precautionary. There has been no incident on either campus, and all students are safe. We will provide more information as we get it.
