Crony company were awarded Billions RM project called Beistari-Net. In Melaka alone 100 telcos tower will be erected. Some of these towers will be erected in the close vicinity of schools and infringing the laws of 20m free premises area. My questions are 1) Why spend billions when the teaching resources could not even cope and delivered simple system such as PPSMI??? 2) Why YTL??? Show us transparency proof of the tendered won??? 3) Why MOE approves the building of these Telco Towers despite infringement of the guidelines of building of Antenna Towers??? 4) What safety & Hazard studies been done to show no radiation risk to these school children??? In 2008, STAR & Harian Metro has reported of a study conducted by a group from UITM on the population of Kampung Subang, Kelana Jaya which highlighted 8% of the population interviewed had cancer or cancer related diseases. This is much higher than the national average of only 1%. We as parents & the public should seek a JUST EXPLANATION of these project. Are our children gonna received more Harm than Good??? Melaka Folks, keep your eyes open as these Towers may be erected at your Children schools
