The just concluded national confrence had place a strong recomendation preventing politicians from moving from one umbrella of a party in which they win election to another. This move is a welcome development into our political system if inplemented by the national assembly. The controversial struggle among politicians of whom can remained relevant in the political affairs has place their manifesto programme on the threshold of personal intrest and at the detriment of the masses who elected them. In the past we have had alots of promises from politicians telling us the infrastruture they would put in place if voted into power. As soon as they were voted, the turn the office into personal business for themself and family members. All these take place because the party that produce such candidate into the seat does not have a strong political ideology that really define and place inclusive governance for the general intrest of the masses. The new face off to challenge these ugly trend can go along way not only in the intrest of the masses but also to restruture the electorial acts there by strenthening the party struture and build internal democray in the parties. The beauty of this recomendation if inplemented, is that, it would ensure stability in the polity, this is because, the recomendation clearly spelt out that, any politicains who win election in a given party but later decide to decamp from that party automaticall lost his or her seat. At this juncture party members would be more discipline and patrotic to their party since they would not like to lost their seat. However those who are not confortable with their party ideology can still move to another party at their own risk. When the recomendation is inplemented it is expected that, certain clauses to checkmate erring politicians would be put in place.
