Cross Country Congratulations to Boys XC team for their 3rd place finish at the region championships last evening, Placing in the top 10 and earning ALL-REGION TEAM honors for the Sharks were Nolan Fuss and Christiopher Young. Sharks team members Nolan Fuss, Christopher Young, Zack Tripp, Austin Trinh, Joey Simpson, Michael Larkin, and Dylan Howell qualified to run at the Lower State Qualifier for the State Championships to be held at Darlington next week. Good Luck to the Boys XC TEAM!! Congratulation to the Girl’s Cross Country Team on a great season. The girls finished in 4th place last night by only one point to Georgetown. Myrtle Beach took 1st, Wilson 2nd, and North Myrtle Beach was 5th. Kelsey Glover placed 1st to become only the 2nd Individual Champion in Cross Country for the girls after a long drought that has lasted ten years. Joining her on the All-Region team was Karleigh Jones. Kasey Emilie ran a new PR of 24:06 and finished 14th. Also running last night for the sharks was Meghan Smith, Caroline Tew, Jessie Poudrier and Carly Mitchell. The Girls run next in Darlington when they attempt to qualify for the State Championship on November the 1st. let’s wish them luck and GO SHARKS!
