CrossFit For Competitors Starting September 30th! Description: This program is designed for experienced CrossFitters interested in getting started in the sport of CrossFit. This program will be very different from our regular CrossFit classes; expect higher volume in conditioning and lifting. . You will be training side by side with our 6 Regional Competitor Coaches. We love to compete and want to share our knowledge with you and take you to the next level! This class is designed to build Rx level competitors. This program requires a base level of strength and GPP (General Physical Preparedness) to be successful. These standards are a way of gaging your readiness for the program. If you do not currently meet these standards and it is your desire to join the Competitors class make theses standards your goal. Talk to your coaches about strategy for getting there. If you are currently competing in scaled and beginner competitions the best thing you can do is to continue to train using regular CrossFit Unmatched programing to gain GPP and basic strength. 1 Rep Max • Dead-Lift: 315/225lbs • Clean & Jerk: 185/115lbs • Snatch: 145/85lbs • Thrusters 155/105lbs Minimum Standards: M/W • Rope Climb • Rx Wall Ball Shot • Toes To Bar • Knees To Elbows • Double-Unders • Box Jump 30/24” • Sub 8 min. mile/ sub 10 min. mile • Pistols • Hand Stand Push-Ups • Chest To Bar • Bar/Ring Dips What the Program Will Look Like: You must be able to attend this schedule on this time. You are not allowed to do these workouts any time besides what is on the schedule below. Monday: Olympic Weightlifting and Conditioning at 6PM Tuesday: APE at 6PM Wednesday: Regular CrossFit Class (Conditioning) Thursday: REST, work on Mobility Friday: Olympic Weightlifting at 6PM Saturday: APE and Conditioning Sunday: REST, work on Mobility or you are allowed to make up ONE workout that was missed during the week if you weren’t able to attend the class on that day. ***Please get with either Coach Ashley or Coach Matt about joining this program. It will take effect on September 30th. As far as paying goes, it’s part of your membership, each time you come to class it counts as a session.
