Crossed 40,000 viewers......... Mawlynnong village is exploring new dimension in the Rural Eco-Tourism in Meghalaya, India. I had an opportunity to reach at this model rural eco-tourism destination last year in December. I wrote an article over Mawlynnong as a ‘Unique Village’ in the February issue of Rural & Marketing magazine, this year. Later I uploaded a slide on Mawlynnong with ‘Mawlynnong Asia’s Cleanest Village; A Model Rural Eco-Tourism’… India has a diversity of culture & climate regions. We can develop such wonderful rural destination in each & every part of India as we comprise 68% of rural population. We can develop agriculture & animal husbandry as a part of such rural interactions. I observe when urban students in majority hardly identify even the vegetable, fruit or staple crops plants & trees. They hardly know about the life in rural habitations.
