Crow Challenge day 6: Eka Pada Galavasana (flying pigeon) Technically this is not in the Crow family, but it requires just about the same discipline, bravery and alignment as Crow. First learn to balance with your leg crossed and resting on the back of each arm (flex the foot to prevent it from sliding). Lean forward and try to lift back foot towards buttocks. Once the core strength is there, commit and straighten that leg to the wall (or lake in my case) behind you! Go for it! You can also use bricks underneath the hands to raise the floor to you. Practice, determination and a bit of surrender will get you to fly. This posture is the accumulation of many years of practice.
