Kota Ibushi jumped ahead of Hiroyoshi Tenzan in Block B because Tenzan forfeited his points. 3. Yuji Nagata pinned Yujiro Takahashi at 9:06 to jump ahead of him in Block B. 4. Toru Yano pinned Minoru Suzuki at 9:26 to stop him leading Block B. 5. Shelton Benjamin knocked Shinsuke Nakamura out at 10:34 to level with him in Block B. 6. Tetsuya Naito pinned Karl Anderson at 13:11 to lead Block B. 7. Lance Archer pinned Harry Smith at 14:37 to stop him from leading Block A. 8. Prince Devitt knocked Togi Makabe out at 8:43 to share the lead in Block A. 9. Satoshi Kojima knocked Kazuchika Okada out at 11:56 to stop him from leading Block A. 10. Hiroshi Tanahashi pinned Katsuyori Shibata at 10:56 to regain the lead in Block A. 11. Kazushi Sakuraba, Kota Ibushi & Akebono beat YOSHI-HASHI, Takashi Iizuka & Tomohiro Ishii when Sakuraba made YOSHI-HASHI tap out at 13:25. 12. Tetsuya Naito pinned Hiroshi Tanahashi at 26:44 to win the 2013 G1 Climax & earn a shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Title.
