Crowleys Milk Co. H-23, a 1967 4500TD, 743 NH-220, RT910, Timken/White 134C 4.11 rear. I took my road test for my NY class 1 trailer license in this old girl. Bought new as a single axle, it was soon stretched and given a Neway air tag when the company started running tandem tractors on road runs. It would be singled out again in the late 70s, and saw daily use until 1983. Well into its second million miles, they traded it to an area Ford dealer on new LN9000 heavy straight trucks. Amazingly, it was resold to a small rural township in upstate New York who converted it to a plow/dump, replacing an early 50s gas 260 Brockway! It was used by them well into the 90s.
