Crowleys Ridge rises over 300 feet above the Mississippi Delta in some places with beautiful mixed hardwood and pine forests. November is a wonderful time to be in this area of Arkansas- the mosquitoes and the heat have left and the forests are set ablaze with fall color. Arkansas’ trails need your help! The volunteer crew will work at two state parks in northeast Arkansas. At Crowley’s Ridge and Davidsonville Historic State Park in the Ozarks, work includes clearing the corridor, tread work, minor bridge repairs, and erosion control. PLUS, sign up for any Volunteer Vacation by AUGUST 25th & youll be entered into a RAFFLE to win some sweet prizes to take with you on your trip! See for yourself how rewarding a trip like this can be! https://americanhiking.org/events/crowleys-ridge-state-park/
