Cruise passengers do not pose a threat. As is the case with - TopicsExpress

Cruise passengers do not pose a threat. As is the case with other school districts around the state, Union Public Schools has had reports of some students, parents, and employees who were on board the cruise ship which was given a clean bill of health and allowed to dock in Galveston Sunday. It was confirmed that no passenger was ever exposed to Ebola. The Galveston County Health Authority allowed all passengers to leave the ship without restrictions after assessing there was no evidence of a health threat posed by one of the passengers, a hospital lab supervisor who had tested specimens from an Ebola-infected patient in Texas. The hospital worker had never displayed symptoms and test results were negative for the disease. The Tulsa County Health Department (THD) confirmed this morning (October 20) that any Tulsa County residents who were on the ship DO NOT pose a health threat to anyone. unionps.org/index.cfm?id=100&newsId=14712
