Crunchyroll to Stream Samurai Warriors/Sengoku Musou TV Anime Crunchyroll announced on Monday that it will stream the television anime of KOEI TecmoGames Samurai Warriors (Sengoku Musou) game franchise. The stream will be available worldwide outside of Asia for members starting on January 11 at 1:35 p.m. EST and free users will be able to watch one week later. Funimation will also stream the series and will premiere the first episode on January 11. Samurai Warriors focuses on the Sanada brothers during the Sengoku era of Japan. In late 16th century, the era of civil war that tore Japan over two centuries is nearing its end and the regional warlords who survived the bloodsheds are ready for a final showdown. In the battlefield where your best ally turns out to be your worst enemy, only the shrewdest can come out alive. Wagakki Band, a group that combines rock with traditional Japanese instruments and features a vocalist who recites Japanese or Chinese poetry, willperform the opening and ending theme songs.
