Culture! Being brought up here in fiji nearly whole my life i learnt the culture here. And from growing up i was harshly told by elders that touching hair is very rude. Went to boarding school and came across islanders and locals fighting coz an islander touched a locals hair without excusing himself too. And here iam now walkinh thru the city and nearly everyone are touching my sons hair. Im lost. Is the custom culture lost? Or this few ppl r just plain rude? No offence to anyone as i have alot of fijian families and friends. You know who you are :-). Its just a question i want to clarify. Maybe it does not apply to touching kids hairs. Anyway all is good :-)
