Cup Match played at Warren House Park Warren House Park, Green Lane, Askern, Doncaster DN6 0PL on 21 September 2014 Kick Off: 10:00 - Attendance: 16 - Refereed by: S. Deere (88) The 2nd time in 2 weeks we were playing in another local derby, This time at home to Schoolboy in Sheffield Cup. Game started and we seemed to hit some of theform weve been missing in last 3 weeks, It wasnt long before Nathan Anderson rose above the schoolboy defence to head home Owen Barkers corner. We continuued ther pressure and was rewarded not long later when Owen Barker crossed in from a freekick when the ball hit the deck James Clarke was first to connect bagging his first since returning from injury. The pressure continued and James Clarke ran onto a James Marks through ball and slotted in the near post for his brace. Half time 3-0. We came out much of the same plenty of pressure but for some reason we just couldnt hit the back of the net until James Marks sqaured to an awaiting Tom Costello....and James Andrews......Aftwer dancing between them Jamesy slotted it under the keeper to put his 4-0 up. We continued the pressure but couldnt add to the tallyy, with the contstant pressure we all pushed on leaving SchoolBoy open to the break, when in the box Dave Preston was penilised for pushing in the Box Penatly!!!! 4-1. We continued the pressure and we still pushed too many men on. They took advantage scoring 1 then another shortley after. 4-3 With a minute to go schoolboy pushed on sending there keeper forward for a freekick and a cornernbut we managed to hold on to get back to winning ways. Man of match Connor Steel
