Curfew in Naidkhai, restrictions elsewhere in Bandipora Bandipora July 3 Authorities have imposed strict restrictions in north Kashmir’s Bandipora town including its sub town’s Hajin and Sumbal while as curfew has been imposed in Naidkhai Village only. The restrictions were placed in wake up of “Markundal and Kondebal Challo” call given by Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani. Geelani has called upon people to reach Kondebal and Markundal, to attend the condolence and prayer rallies in favour of Irfan Ganai and Tariq Leherwal, who were allegedly killed by army on Sunday. Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Told Jammu & kashmir News that only restrictions have been laid in district except Naid Khai Village where curfew has been imposed. “There is no restriction on people visiting Markundal to offer Condolences to Irfans Family, Hundreds of Mourners have already poured in Markundal to offer condolences with grief stricken family” DC said. Meanwhile complete shutdown is being observed on the fourth consecutive day today across the length and breadth of Bandipora district. Reports said, partial shutdown is also observed in Baramulla, Sopore and Kupwara towns, besides public transport is off the roads however some private and passenger cabs are seen moving up and down.
