Curious about how others will respond to this question? Do you feel you can separate the artist from their creation. In other words, suppose an artist, (author, musician, painter, poet, singer, sculptor, etc) had created art you loved, but then they did something that went against your own morals and beliefs, could you still love their work? And what if the accusation came after the artist was dead and couldnt defend themselves? Right now I am struggling with this myself. One of my favorite authors who is deceased has been accused of some very heinous things. Many who also fell in love with her books have burned them or thrown them out after the accusations came to light. I cant. Im not saying she is innocent or guilty. We may never know.
