Curious to know if there are any city run playgrounds left in Danbury. Years ago there were some( Highland Ave is the one I recall most vividly). They had pools, picnic tables, games,pavilions,playground equipment and were staffed by older teens who provided craft activities also. You could bring your change and make pot holders, wallets, lanyards, etc! You could bring your lunch and spend the day or return for more fun in the afternoon. What a great time I recall! Always looked forward to it in the summer!
