Curiously theres no mention in the love Jihad narrative of Hindu men marrying Muslim women. The assumption must either be that in these cases it is Muslim women who are assimilated into the Hindu fold, so thats all right, or that if it is the Hindu men who convert, this is such an appalling prospect that its best not thought of or mentioned. A party that reduces love across religious boundaries to a zero sum game, is a party that cant conceive of love. In their campaign against love jihad the whiskered patriarchs of the Parivar have given notice of a crusade of another kind: a jihad on love itself. ------------- using development, acche din and many other incentives as its veil, BJP has eluded the aam janta of its right wing characteristics . the current love you 2 dalit and love jihad policies totally reflect RSS sway in BJP. people get influenced by the propoganda because they belong to a certain religion but they should not forget , as our history teacher once told us, that they all follow only one religion: constitution of india. It screams PEACE. to quote Mr udhav Naig, when one comes across claims of love jihad, one must resist from demanding hard evidence. rather one must unambigously assert that in a democratic country, people have a right to fall in love, live-in together, marry, convert to, or leave any religion as they wish. it must also be asserted that religious and political organisations have no right to regulate privacy. This could be the only logical response to a campaign that is deeply ideological in nature.
