N Srinivasan, nuclear Scientist, died at the age of 84 18.05.2014: N Srinivasan, nuclear Scientist, died at the age of 84. He died due to cardiac arrest. Srinivasan was the recipient of Padma Bhushan. He achieved this award in the year 2000. He was the first Project Director of the Reactor Research centre. Now this centre was renamed as Indira Gandhi centre for Atomic Research. It is located at Kalpakkam. Rs.5500 crores Show Cause notice to Adani Group 18.05.2014: Rs.5500 crores Show Cause notices to Adani Group. Notice was given by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence for over valuation of capital equipment imports. Net Profit of Adani Group is Rs.102 crores in the 4th quarter of 2014 18.05.2014: By the end of March 2014, Net Profit of Adani Group is Rs.102 crores. During last year in the same period, company attained loss of Rs.73 crores. However companies total income decreased by 15% and reached to Rs.3057 crores as against Rs.3587 crores. Bank Deposits increased by 14.8% : Bank Credit increased by 13.8% 18.05.2014: As per the RBI Data, bank deposits increasing. Now it has increased by 14.8% and reached to Rs.78, 88,416 crores. During last year in the same financial period, deposits of commercial banks stood at Rs.68, 68,811 crores. Bank Credit also increased by 13.8% and reached to Rs.60, 67,459 crores. During last year in the same financial period bank credit is Rs.53, 29,812 crores. Demand deposits increased from Rs.6, 44,764 crores to Rs.7, 48,231 crores. Time deposits increased from Rs.62, 24,047 to Rs.71, 40,184. Credit growth increased from Rs.60, 36, 083 crores to Rs.60, 67,459.
