Current Feedback from a case worker at the Southern Domestic Violence Shelter: I provided bags to two teenage girls when they moved in here (as they didn’t get one when in hotel) and they were surprised. It made them feel more welcomed and comfortable. One of the families came with literally nothing but the shirts on their back as they had to pretend they were going to the supermarket to be able to flee. When I gave the three boys their backpacks they gave me the biggest smiles, they were so happy with what they got and they showed me every item they got in their bags and were so excited with everything, even the hairbrushes! Thank you to all who help raise awareness, donate goods and even their time so we can continue to make a difference to the kids of SA. Big smiles tonight :D (Rach)
