Strength Geopolitical Advantage keenly interested by two current major world powers Remarkable prospects in several business sectors Low cost work force comparatively cheaper than neighboring countries ( President U Thein Sein will be the most important strength as he has strong will for real change ) Weakness Enormous vested interest by interest groups among central & regional governments Lack of basic infrastructure essential for FDI Improper financial institutions Improper institutionalization of government organizations Ineffective bureaucracy Unskilled workforce Political instability Opportunity Charismatic new market for MNCs globally Incoming aids & assistance from international family Strategic location for US to balance & contain the rising China Threat Continuing Chinas grip on Myanmar as important for Two Oceans Theory Taking advantage by Chinese companies which are thirsty for energy consumption & raw materials Influx of Chinese & Bengali into Myanmar Potential If Myanmar can use the best out of its geopolitical advantage If current transition continues with more appropriate personal If people responsible for implementation of reform process are willing to change their mindset ( National interest should be first priority instead of personal interest ) Unlimited benefit for the people & Myanmar will certainly be inevitable in the near future .
