Current President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso is to give his final speech as President in the plenary in Strasburg today at 15:00. Mr Barroso will then discuss with us MEPs the priorities for the 23-24 October European Council, including a new climate and energy policy, with a focus on energy security, the economic situation in the EU and developments on the international scene.
